COLUMBIA, Mo. — Football games are played on football fields, but some of the most compelling elements of Missouri’s regular season finale against Arkansas on Saturday will take place above and around the field’s white lines.
The No. 24 Tigers, placed 21st in the College Football Playoff Selection Committee’s most recent rankings, are 8-3 overall and 4-3 against Southeastern Conference opponents. They’ve won their last two meetings with the Razorbacks, who are 6-5 overall and 3-4 in conference play, and have never lost to Arkansas inside Memorial Stadium.
The 2024 contest for the Battle Line trophy will kick off at 2:30 p.
