More than anything else, the Missouri basketball program needs a point guard for the future. Today Cuonzo Martin and staff got a commitment from a developmental point guard in Xavier Pinson.
Pinson is a 6’3, 170-pound rising prospect from Chicago Simeon. Simeon is the breeding ground of a lot of talented prospects, including Derrick Rose, Jabari Parker and most recently Talen Horton-Tucker, a top-50 player who is signed to Iowa State.
Pinson’s stock has steadily risen as he’s gotten in front of more eyes. He was previously committed to Kent State, but then decommitted in hopes of boosting his stock.
