Missouri just landed another player to its 2019 recruiting class — three-star defensive end Shemar Pearl from West Plano High School in Plano, Texas.
He announced his commitment via Twitter Monday morning:
Many thought Pearl would stay in his home state and commit to Baylor, but it looks like Barry Odom and Co. swayed the three-star pass-rusher to come 564 miles north to Columbia, Missouri.
10 other FBS schools offered Pearl, including current-top-10 teams Alabama, Notre Dame and Georgia.
Pearl visited Columbia this weekend during homecoming when the Tigers dismantled Memphis 65-33.
