When Barry Odom was introduced as Missouri football's newest head coach he said that, in addition to wanting to establish pipelines into Texas and the SEC footprint, that Missouri has "tremendous high school football" and that recruiting is about relationships.
Odom made good on that by hiring AJ Ofodile, his former assistant who took over head coaching duties at Rock Bridge HS when Odom took a coordinator job with Missouri in 2003. Ofodile played tight end at Missouri and in the NFL for the Baltimore Ravens and now is the Director of Recruiting Operations for Mizzou.
