Mizzou Football could target a current Group of 5 head coach, because there are some good ones. Louisiana’s Billy Napier and Tulane’s Willie Fritz have had great years and success and should be near the top of the candidate target list. Others like UAB’s Bill Clark and App State’s Eli Drinkwitz are also options.
Memphis’ Mike Norvell and Boise State’s Bryan Harsin would be good hires, but is the Missouri job the one they want? Norvell might have his pick of gigs, while Harsin is coaching and winning at his alma mater.
