St. Louis Cardinals eight-time All-Star catcher Yadier Molina is reportedly going to make an appearance behind the plate for the Springfield Cardinals on Saturday.
St. Louis Post-Dispatch Cardinals beat writer Derrick Goold reported that Molina's Saturday appearance would be the first of "two or a few" rehab games for the catcher.
Molina has been out since being hit in the groin by a foul tip.
The Cardinals announced on May 6 that Molina underwent surgery and was expected to miss a month.
