The maturation of the Missouri State football program is happening in front of our eyes.
A little more than a season and a half into Bobby Petrino's time as the head coach of the Bears, he has taken the program from being a laughingstock into one that is to be respected by those at the highest level.
Since his hiring, the Bears have pulled off some of the most remarkable feats in the program's history featuring a share of the Missouri Valley Football Conference being won during a shortened spring season that resulted in their first FCS Playoff appearance since 1990.
