WILLARD — In the first four weeks of the season, Willard went 0-4 and never put up more than 14 points. Things were never quite right for the Tigers.
“We would watch the film, and on the bad plays and the good plays — you could see where there would be eight, nine or 10 guys doing really well,” Willard head coach Brock Roweton said. “We would miss an assignment, slip off a block — miss our cut.”
Now coming off beating Joplin 32-20, the Tigers have finally played a complete game.
