Missouri State baseball is back to being appealing to the eye as its offense has returned to putting up big numbers similar to those of its great teams from over the last decade.
In some categories, the Bears are hitting better than they did on the unforgettable NCAA Tournament Super Regional teams of 2015 and 2017. The team is batting above .300 which is a remarkable turnaround considering the Bears had one of their worst offensive seasons in program history a year ago while batting .232 as a team.
But none of that matters without pitching and the Bears just don't seem to have enough of it.
