When Jake Burger is on the road, he keeps a folder in his backpack with a letter that he reads whenever he gets down.
Burger, a rising prospect in the Chicago White Sox organization, had revealed just a few months before receiving the letter that he struggled with depression and anxiety.
His mental health, along with a pair of Achilles tears, made him consider quitting baseball after he first thought he was living his dream being picked by his favorite team with the 11th pick in the 2017 MLB Draft.
But he didn't quit. Now he's trying to help everyone who hears his story.
