Now that former Kickapoo basketball standout Tyson Batiste has landed with an NCAA Division I team, he joins a fraternity of former Kickapoo players who have gone on to college basketball’s top level.
These rankings are based on what the ex-Chiefs did after their careers at Kickapoo concluded. Please note, this list is comprised solely of players who made NCAA Division I basketball commitments, so several great names from the past such as Alex Hall, Mike Blakeslee or more recent standouts like Matt Ridder and Jack Simpson will not appear. Batiste has four years to show what sort of mark his can leave at Central Connecticut State University and to show where he ranks among some of Kickapoo’s all-time greats who went on to Division I programs.
