Tyem Freeman said he didn't take the thought of being redshirted the right way.
The Parkview High star was recovering from an ACL tear he suffered during December of his senior year of high school. He was enrolled at Missouri State after being the first commit to head coach Dana Ford.
"I don't think I was ready for that commitment," Freeman said in a recent interview with the News-Leader. "I think I took it the wrong way and I just made some childish mistakes."
He didn't go into further detail, but those mistakes led to Freeman withdrawing from Missouri State.
