Basketball season is here, and I am just as excited as you are because this has the potential to be a special season of hoops in Springfield.
The Bears and Lady Bears both have teams that look to be NCAA Tournament worthy. The Lady Panthers will be one of the best teams in Division II again. And we have some big-time basketball talent at the high school level that truly shows that we live in a basketball region.
