Missouri State women's basketball coach Kellie Harper is still the Lady Bears head coach as of Thursday morning but the longer the Tennessee Lady Volunteers job remains open, the more it appears she might be headed that way.
Harper — a three-time national championship-winning point guard at UT — was confirmed to be up for the job after MSU Athletics Director Kyle Moats said Monday that Tennessee reached out to him with interest in the head coach.

Rumors have swirled around Harper in recent days from either her being on the Knoxville campus to her being the front runner for the job.
