For the third time in her Lady Bears career, Sydney Wilson will have a new head coach.
The senior with an option to return for a fifth year of eligibility was among the few Lady Bears who sat in the first rows during new head coach Beth Cunningham's introductory press conference on Thursday morning.
Wilson was recruited by Kellie Harper before she departed to take the head coaching job at Tennessee following the 2018-19 season. Wilson stuck around when Amaka Agugua-Hamilton was hired and went to two more NCAA Tournaments including another Sweet 16.
After Agugua-Hamilton's departure for Virginia, Wilson and the Lady Bears were left waiting to learn who their new head coach would be.
