Dana Ford promised championships when he was introduced as the Bears' head coach and he might have a chance to deliver his first during his fourth season.
Missouri State is in the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season title hunt with four games remaining. The Bears are currently tied for second place heading into the final two weeks of the season.
The clearest path to winning the league would be by winning out and first place Loyola losing at least one game. Winning out has to start Tuesday at 7 p.m. when the Bears host Indiana State.

Winning the Valley isn't totally in the Bears' control as they will need first-place Loyola Chicago to lose a game if MSU was to win out.
