MOLINE, Ill. — With a championship on the line, Lady Bears head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton admitted her team didn't show up on Saturday.
Missouri State fell 60-42 at Loyola when Valparaiso gave the Lady Bears the help they needed by beating Southern Illinois. A win could have given the Lady Bears a three-peat, but the loss left the Lady Bears without a regular-season title for the first time under "Coach Mox."
"That was a pretty hard pill to swallow," Agugua-Hamilton said. "Now our eyes are just set on the next prize this weekend when we have another opportunity to win a championship and go dancing.
