Missouri State added its second high school commitment from West Plains to its current recruiting class.
Watson Hafer, a 6-foot-4, 220-pound tight end, tweeted his commitment to Missouri State on Sunday night. He joins teammate Heston Miller who will be either a tight end or defensive back in the maroon and white.
Hafer finished the 2022 season with 39 catches for 500 yards and four touchdowns. He was selected as the News-Leader's First Team All-Ozarks tight end as the best player at his position in the area.
Hafer also held offers from Illinois State, Southern Illinois, Southeast Missouri State, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood and others.
