The Bears hit the road this week to take on some of the best teams in the nation. With the conference championship looming for most of them, this was the Bears’ last chance to improve their conference standing.
Women’s Tennis
The Missouri State women’s tennis team stepped back on the court on Thursday, opening their season with a 7-0 loss against Wichita State. The Bears’ duo of sophomore Fati Khamissi and senior Ekaterina Donetckova posted a strong showing in the No. 2 doubles winning 4-2, but Wichita State clinched the doubles point by winning the first and third matches.
