After completing the Missouri Valley Conference regular season unbeaten at 18-0, the No. 25-ranked volleyball Bears (26-5) have their sights set on an MVC Tournament championship this weekend in Normal, Illinois.
The Bears earned a bye into the semifinals as the top seed, and open play Friday at 5 p.m. against either fourth-seeded Drake or No. 5 Indiana State. Missouri State is in search of its fifth MVC Tournament title — with previous wins coming in 1990, 1993, 2005 and 2008 — and has advanced to the championship match each of the last two seasons.
