On the same day the News-Leader reported Kellie Harper was about to receive a contract extension, the Lady Bears head coach apparently had her car stolen, according to a probable cause statement.
Two were arrested for stealing Harper's vehicle on May 16, according to documents.
Harper reported her 2018 Ford Explorer — which is provided by the university according to her contract — was stolen on May 16. The Lady Bears coach said the car was parked in her designated spot and she believed the key fob for the vehicle may have been left in the center console, according to the statement.
