If any of his players are feeling too good about themselves, Missouri State coach Paul Lusk has a simple message.
It’s one that could come in handy, given his team’s easy time in an 85-66 victory over Oral Roberts on Wednesday night.
With Valparaiso on tap next for the Bears, Lusk brought back a painful memory for his team – a 93-59 pasting at the hands of nationally ranked Butler in the opening round of the Puerto Rico Tipoff in late November.
“This will be as tough a challenge as the Butler game, and we’re not on a neutral floor,” Lusk said Friday.
