They didn’t mince words: Bears fans flooded inbox of MSU officials during coach search

For 19 days in March, fans of the Missouri State men's basketball program could not stop talking about who the next head coach might be.

Through a Sunshine Law request, the News-Leader obtained more than 40 emails sent by fans to both MSU Athletic Director Kyle Moats and MSU President Clif Smart regarding the coaching search.

From the last day of the regular season until the day Dana Ford was announced as the next head coach, fans urged MSU officials to take a range of actions.
