SPARTA — Strafford girls basketball has been a known commodity for quite some time.
There have been state titles, winning streaks and more, but a group that watched most of those accomplishments happen is trying to make it happen for themselves.
After winning a district championship 65-53 over Skyline, the Lady Indians are off to a good start.
The win was something the team expected to get, but Skyline made it difficult.
After the Lady Indians went into halftime up 40-31, Skyline came out of halftime scoring at a fast pace while the Strafford offense sputtered.
