The best way for Missouri State football to drive interest back into the program is by winning. If the Bears can win with local talent, that's even better.
Missouri State returned to the postseason for the first time since 1990 during the spring and it will have a chance to do it again during the fall. The Bears will be led by players from all over the country and by a few from the region.
Bears head coach Bobby Petrino absorbed a few local players from the previous coaching staff and has continued to show a commitment to the region through his recruiting.
