The last few days have been difficult for Josh Scott.
The athletics director of Springfield Public Schools saw one of his football teams' season come to an end due to COVID-19. Parkview won't play this week nor next when district play begins — ending the Vikings' season at 0-6 with four games canceled.
But if you would've told Scott in late July or early August that football would have made it this far, he might've been a little surprised.
Scott told the News-Leader in an interview Thursday morning that he's happy with how the fall has played out amid the pandemic.
