There’s a definite strut in the step of the Missouri State Bears these days.
It’s a clear departure from even nine days ago, when a loss to Utah State at home left the team with a 1-5 record and seemingly destined for a poor nonconference finish before they even get to the rugged Missouri Valley Conference schedule.
Even if it hasn’t been the prettiest performance at times, the Bears are riding a two-game winning streak, after an 88-74, come-from-behind victory over IUPUI on Thursday night.
“It’s very important, because we’ve been playing a lot of good teams, right from the jump,” Bears senior Camyn Boone said.
