It was an unfamiliar position that the Strafford Lady Indians found themselves in Friday afternoon at Hammons Student Center. For the first time since early January, the Lady Indians found themselves behind in the third quarter.
But Strafford was able to hold off a physical Whitfield squad and pull away for a 67-50 victory in the Class 3 semifinal. The win sends Strafford to the state title game as they look for their third straight championship and 82nd consecutive victory
