A Springfield writer will present some of his work this week at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
Springfield's Ethan Bryan wrote 50 baseball-related stories — one for every state — to go along with a map that was created out of old baseballs by artist Nate Rueckert.
Bryan and Rueckert will present some of their work Friday during the Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture.
"In about nine weeks time, I talked to multiple people from every state and interviewed them for their baseball story," Bryan said. "It was just incredible.
