The Springfield Cardinals won their first series of the season with a pair of wins over Northwest Arkansas to add on to their home opener thriller.
Springfield needed a pair of come-from-behind victories to improve to 3-7 and to remain unbeaten at Hammons Field to start the season.

Friday
After giving up a late lead for the second night in a row, the Springfield Cardinals rallied yet again for another home victory.
The Cardinals beat Northwest Arkansas 11-7 after scoring five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to improve to 2-7 on the season.
