A home winning streak for the Springfield Cardinals came to an abrupt halt Tuesday.
A rough road trip to start the season was followed by five straight home wins before Tuesday's 11-0 loss to Tulsa.
Left-handed pitcher Evan Kruzynski got the start for the Cards, but had a rough go of it in the second inning, as he allowed for runs, mostly on a series of walks and singles. He caught a bad break when pitcher Dustin May slapped a ball up the middle that Kruzynski was able to get his glove on, but the deflection off his glove sent the ball over the infield for a two-run single.
