After Tulsa ended Missouri State’s modest two-game winning streak, Bears coach Paul Lusk didn’t waste any time looking ahead.
“I told the guys in the locker room, that team right there just got beat by the next team coming in here,” Lusk said after the Bears dropped a 70-61 game to the Golden Hurricane on Sunday. “Oral Roberts just won at Tulsa, so we’ll have to be ready to go.”
That should get his team’s attention for Wednesday's home game, though the team knows how good Oral Roberts is. The Golden Eagles outclassed the Bears in the season opener, in addition to the win Tulsa about a week ago.
