Report: Missouri State Lady Bears coach Kellie Harper leaving for Tennessee Lady Vols job

Kellie Jolly is reportedly going home.

Missouri State Lady Bears head coach Kellie Harper is leaving the women's basketball program to be the head coach of the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, according to a report by ESPN's Chris Low. The news was first reported by Fox News Knoxville.

Harper — the former Kellie Jolly — was a starting point guard for the Lady Vols and helped lead the team to three consecutive national championships from 1996-98. She was named to the Final Four All-Tournament team in 1997.

"As a player at the University of Tennessee, Kellie showed great leadership, poise and dedication," the late legendary Lady Vols coach Pat Summitt said in a statement in April 2013 upon Harper's hiring at MSU.
