The Brooklyn Nets, one of the most talented teams in the NBA, plan to waive former Missouri State star Alize Johnson, according to a report.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN tweeted Friday afternoon that "the Nets are fond of Johnson, but are loaded at his position and will allow him to play elsewhere.
Johnson just finished his third season in the NBA after a pair of standout years at Missouri State.
Through three seasons, he's appeared in 49 games and has averaged 2.9 points, 3.2 boards and 0.4 assists in an average of 7.6 minutes per game.
