Shortly after clearing waivers on Monday afternoon, Alize Johnson is reportedly headed to the Windy City.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the former Missouri State star has agreed to a two-year, $3.6 million deal with the Chicago Bulls.
Wojnarowski said the Bulls have a need for power forward depth and the roster offers an opportunity for Johnson to play.
Johnson was recently waived by the Brooklyn Nets — who are rich with power forward depth. Johnson played two years at Missouri State and is coming off his third season in the NBA.
Through three seasons, he's appeared in 49 games and has averaged 2.
