This year's edition of the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge will be a sprint and not a marathon.
The three-day event on the PGA Tour Champions circuit became a two-day event after torrential rain wiped out Friday's opening round.
The decision was made Friday afternoon to whittle it to a 36-hole event for the Champions Division — players ages 50-64 — and only a nine-hole event for the ages 65 and over Legends Division.
All of the competition will be conducted at Top of the Rock, after the rain left the other course in the mix — the Buffalo Ridge Springs Course — unplayable.
