High school basketball in the Ozarks has arrived and we're introducing our new weekly power rankings right before the teams are scheduled to take the floor.
Each week, the News-Leader will publish its "Ozarks Fab 15" rankings for both boys and girls basketball — power ranking the teams across the Ozarks.
News-Leader reporter Wyatt Wheeler will rank 15 boys and girls teams each week. The first five teams left out will be listed in alphabetical order.
Among the considered factors in the rankings:
- How teams finished the 2019-20 season
- Who teams have returning for the 2020 season
- Program success over the years
- 2019 head-to-head matchups
- Watching the teams play
