This is the experience that MSU Bears swim and dive coach Dave Collins received this past weekend at the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships.
For Collins, the first part of his experience at the NCAA Championships came as a coach through the eyes of Freshman Artur Osvath, the Bears’ only participant at the event. Osvath had a stellar performance at the event, setting personal bests in the 200 IM and 100 breast.
He also finished second in the third heat of the 200 breast preliminaries with a time of 1:55.59 and falling just .01 seconds shy of being an All-American.
