NORMAN, Okla. — Not many expected Missouri State to pull off a miracle against one of the best teams in the country, but folks were hoping for more in the Bears' first game under Bobby Petrino.

Missouri State fell 48-0against FBS No. 5 Oklahoma on Saturday evening at Gaylord Family-Memorial Stadium. The Sooners are the highest-ranked team the Bears have ever played.
The Bears will now look to build off their first setback under Petrino before closing the fall season out with two games against Central Arkansas — with the first one on the road on Sept.
