Alston Mason, a transfer guard from Oklahoma, announced on Friday that he will transfer to play basketball at Missouri State.
Mason is coming off his freshman season with the Sooners. He appeared in 18 games this past season and averaged 1.4 points and 6.2 minutes. He will have three years of eligibility.
The 6-foot-2 point guard also held offers from Kansas City, Abilene Christian, Southern Utah, Nebraska, Florida International, Southern Illinois, Kansas State, Loyola Chicago and New Mexico State out of high school.
Mason was a three-star prospect in the class of 2021 and was Porter Moser's first non-transfer recruit at OU.
