If during the 2021-22 season, a Missouri State fan was told that a team led by Ja'Monta Black, Demarcus Sharp and Isaac Haney went and beat the No. 15 team on the road, that fan would begin dreaming of the Bears' first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 1999.
That scenario became a reality on Monday night, but it won't necessarily have Bears fans dreaming of the postseason.
Northwestern State, led by three Bears transfers and former associate head coach Corey Gipson, went into No. 15 TCU and got a 65-64 win.
The Demons were led by Black who scored 25 points with seven 3's and Sharp who scored 19 points.
