Missouri State had a chance at pulling off one of its biggest wins in program history but No. 3 North Dakota State rallied in the fourth quarter to stay perfect.
No. 17 Missouri State (4-3, 3-2) couldn't hold onto a seven-point lead heading into the fourth as the Bison (7-0, 4-0) came away with a 27-20 victory on Saturday afternoon in Fargo, North Dakota.
The loss began a four-game stretch against four of the best teams in the Missouri Valley Football Confernce. The Bears might need to win two of their next three to qualify for the FCS Playoffs at season's end.
