A funny thing happened on the way to a cakewalk for the Missouri State men’s basketball team on Tuesday night.
Bradley wouldn’t go away.
The Bears took leads of 12-0 and 20-2 and appeared in position to name the score against the Braves – the youngest team in all of Division I and owners of a 3-20 record coming in.
Missouri State finished off the 77-71 victory before an announced crowd of 3,723 at JQH Arena, its second win in a row and sixth in 11 Missouri Valley Conference games.
“It’s a win, and you don’t apologize for a win,” Bears coach Paul Lusk said.
