The Lady Bears are getting their respect now.
After a regular-season that saw them go 26-4 overall and 16-2 en route to a Missouri Valley Conference title, three Lady Bears were selected to the league's first team.
Alexa Willard, Brice Calip and Jasmine Franklin were all tabbed as First Team Missouri Valley Conference players, the league announced Wednesday morning.
This comes a season after the Lady Bears went to the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 with just one first-teamer.
