A poor defensive performance from Missouri State has the Bears coming back to Springfield on a three-game losing streak.
Missouri State (2-3, 0-2) couldn't do anything to slow down North Dakota (3-2, 1-1) in a 48-31 loss on Saturday afternoon in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The Bears went into halftime with a one-point lead before the Fighting Hawks exploded in the second half to put MSU away. The seventh-ranked Bears certainly won't be ranked near as high come Monday morning's poll releases.
It won't get any easier for Missouri State, however, it will return home next week.
