The Missouri State Lady Bears and head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton have plenty of reasons to be thankful.
On Sunday afternoon at JQH Arena, they were careful not to spoil the holiday mood.
Jasmine Franklin scored a game-high and career-best 24 points and the No. 19-ranked Lady Bears cruised to an 83-58 win over visiting Kansas City. Brice Calip and Alexa Willard each added 15 points as MSU improved to 28-6 in their last 33 games in the Queen City.
Missouri State (7-1) never trailed in the game and sealed the victory by scoring 27 points in the third quarter, turning a nine-point halftime lead into a commanding 19-point advantage.
