One of the best high school prospects to come through southwest Missouri in recent years is headed to the NFL.
Former Kickapoo standout Travis Vokolek is reportedly signing an undrafted free agent deal with the Baltimore Ravens following the 2023 NFL Draft. He has spent the last four years at Nebraska after transferring from Rutgers.
Vokolek was a three-star recruit at Kickapoo where he was a Class 6 all-state selection on defense as a senior while recording 90 tackles in addition to catching 17 passes for 205 yards and a pair of scores. He made 82 tackles as a junior while leading the Chiefs to the state semifinals.
