SAN ANTONIO — Nearly two years ago to the day, the Lady Bears jumped into each others' arms while screaming in victory after upsetting nationally-ranked DePaul for the program's first NCAA Tournament win since 2001.
On Monday, it was quite different. There were some high-fives and some "good jobs," but nothing too out of the ordinary.
Even after a 16-0 rally to end the third quarter and coming away with a 70-51 first-round victory over UC Davis in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament, it was straight business.
