Missouri men's basketball is officially headed back to the NCAA Tournament.
The Tigers earned the No. 9 seed in the West region and will face No. 8 seed Oklahoma on Saturday, with the winner likely playing No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga in the second round.
The tip-off time and venue of the first-round matchup were not immediately announced. The entire tournament is being played in the state of Indiana.
Missouri's former Big 12 Conference rival Sooners are 15-10 this season and have lost five of their past six games.
This marks Missouri's first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2018, when the Tigers had a first-round exit to Florida State.
