The NCAA announced Wednesday the men's and women's basketball tournaments will be held as scheduled at all venues next week, but without fans present.
The Drury Lady Panthers were selected to host the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional which is scheduled to begin on Friday. It remains unclear how the NCAA's decision will impact Drury but an announcement is expected to be made by the university on Wednesday.
A Drury Athletics spokesperson told the News-Leader that the university is currently gathering information in regards to how it will move forward. The spokesperson said the university has yet to been given any direction on how to proceed and it will follow the NCAA's instruction as it comes in.
